How much does a website cost?
Fixed prices, all including VAT: the One-Pager £350, the Five-Page £700, and the Full Works from £1,200. One clear price, agreed up front — no hourly surprises. See Services for what's in each.
Do I have to pay monthly?
Not at all — that's your choice. Buy it outright and there's no monthly fee; the site's yours to keep on your own hosting. Or host it with us on a small monthly or yearly plan that bundles in hosting, a domain, email and a couple of changes a month. Two ways, you pick.
Can I use my own hosting?
Yes. Buy the package outright, send us your hosting login, and we'll upload your finished site to your servers and get it live. No monthly fee, nothing to cancel — it's yours to keep.
What do I get if I host with you?
We put your site on our servers and look after the lot: a domain (free for year one, then £15/year inc VAT), a basic email address (you@yourbusiness.co.uk), SSL, backups, and up to 2 minor amendments or photo swaps a month included. Just £15/month or £144/year (inc VAT). Bigger jobs are quoted separately.
What about the domain name?
If you host with us, your domain is free for the first year, then just £15/year (inc VAT) to renew. Already got a domain you love? No problem — we'll point it at your new site.
Can I make changes once it's live?
Always. If you host with us, up to two minor changes a month — text, prices, photos, opening hours — are included. If you bought outright, we're still on hand; those changes are charged per job. Larger work (new pages, new features) is quoted first either way.
Do I own the website?
Yes — once it's paid for in full, it's yours, outright. No platform locking you in.
How long does it take?
We agree a realistic timescale when you order, and keep things moving. Most sites are live within a couple of weeks once we've got your words and photos — the quicker you get those to us, the quicker you're live.
What do you need from me?
Your words, your logo, a few decent photos, and your contact details. We'll tell you exactly what we need and guide you through it — and if your photos aren't up to much, we'll point you the right way.
Will it work on mobile?
Every time. More than half your visitors will be on a phone, so every site is built to look sharp on the smallest screen first.
Will people actually find it on Google?
Every WebDon site comes with local SEO built in — proper titles, location markup and a tidy Google Business Profile. Want to push harder? We offer ongoing SEO care too. What we won't do is promise "page one" — nobody honestly can.
Can you do my logo and print as well?
Yes — WebDon is part of Print In The Bag, a Dorset print studio. So business cards, signage and flyers to match your new site are no bother, all from one place.
How do I pay?
Simple and secure — a deposit to get started and the balance on completion, by card or bank transfer. Get in touch and we'll sort it.
